You are indeed a swine with that new CCD........
I WANT ONE too
Nah, nice first light with the mega chip.
Considering our skies have been pretty average, it's amazing what one can do with what one has to work with.
Jeezzz, BTW, nice processing....
Now get those filters sorted and we'll see some colour from your end of the Bay.
Keep up the good work..
Cheers
Rich

I'm envious of you living in Streaky Bay.
My main hobby is windsurfing: Streaky is pretty much the windiest place in Australia.
Oh, and good skies too.

Nice place Streaky Bay. We stayed there on our way to Ceduna in 2002. Total solar eclipse in 2034 I think. Just keeping it in mind for another road trip.
Tony
BTW nice shots and observatory.

You've got it made mate, good luck to you. Think of me in the western suburbs of Sydney, parking meters, traffic jams, pollution, everyone in a hurry, cloudy skies. I know it's what you make of it, but the idea of walking out your back door into the still, clear wilderness, with the wide open spaces, where you can take a really deep breath, appeals to me. Someday perhaps...or is it a case of "the grass is greener", do we always yearn for what we don't have and not realise the 'Diamonds beneath our feet'?
