Super Nova Remnant IC 443

Decided to get a bit ambitious and image IC443 with the Moon quite close. There was a nasty gradient in the image but nothing that could not be removed with GradientXterminator. For comparison the image of IC 2944 in Carina (well away from the Moon) has no gradients.
Details Canon 5DH, Canon 300mm F2.8L at F2.8, Astronomic 10Nm HA filter.

IC443 5x10min at ISO 200 all images summed in Registar
IC2944 10x10min at ISO 200 again summed.

There is also a map to show the other objects in the same area as IC443.

This is all a real learning experience for me. I am sure with practice can do better. I have already found out that flats taken with an LPR filter correct much better than flats taken with the HA filter.
The bright nebula NGC2174 is also known as the monkey face nebula.

Well done, 100 mins , thats nice and deep on ic 2944
I will have to do some Ha imaging with your lens too
Will be easier as the Argo Navis will help out with finding objects.
