Thumbs up Comet McNaught / IISAC T-Shirt

Hi all

When we were at the top of the mountain at IISAC2007 on the Saturday night, we had about 100 people there waiting for it to get dark, and John (xstream) suggested a group photo that we can superimpose a comet picture on later..

So here it is!

It was then suggested that we could make the image into a t-shirt, "I saw Comet McNaught at IISAC2007".

So this thread is to get some interest from people who would be interested in buying a t-shirt with this picture on it. Its audience is probably limited to people who actually attended, but who knows?

Sizes available from XS, all the way to 3XL. The t-shirt would probably be white, and would probably cost $20-$25, with postage an additional $5.

I'd need about 30 committed orders to get the run done, as digitizing the image for print isn't cheap!

Thanks

I know I wasn't there but it looks so good I'll have one too. Gotta keep the collection complete.

XL please

I wonder if Sir h0ughalot or the Big Alster would happen to have a spare 1st edition Qld Astrofest one. That will be the only one I'm missing.

Hi Mike,

I think its a great idea! But I also share the same sentiments as Dave . I feel that one needs to have been there that night for it to have meaning and kudos.

I think about the questions people will also ask, "oh did u see it?" and the response being, "well not exactly.....I saw it the previous night" and the whole conversation goes from being a corker to a fizzer!!!
Maybe I'm looking at it too deeply!

But it is a terrific idea!
