Almost a cats Paw
Well,after M&T's fantastic pic of the Cats Paw, It's almost embarrassing putting my puny human version up for all to ridicule. Almost

Telescope: RC 12
Camera: ML 8300
Mount: MX+
Guiding: ONAG
Exposures: Ha/6 hrs/RGB/3 hrs binned 2x2
Software: SkyX Pro/AA5/CC

I dunno...you don't need kicking, you have just gone for the details and highlights. The stars look very nice and the image is nice and smooth...so the infernal
"nice image" is quite an appropriate overall description

That's a very solid image. The tiny dust lane detail in that parrot-beaky thorny sharks-fin thing at the very bottom of the image is excellent.

A tough object, it rarely looks nice. Best done in full narrowband I think.
