Another Go At The LMC

Hi All

After imaging the Comet last night the night was still clear and i thought i would have a go at the LMC again

Didn't come out to bad i think

The image consists of 8 frames @ 2,00 Min's, 135mm F/2.0L Lens on Canon 5D, tracked, on EQ5 Mount, and 72mm Hutech LPR Filter.
Combined in Image Plus. and touched up in PS2

Cheers Leon

Nice one leon
I love the "fizz" of the LMC - you've caught it well.
Roll on the Tak eh!?
Cheers

Thanks Doug, what's happening, have you tried the 28mm yet.

Just got back from the Comet run, another fifty images, thank God for digital, if I didn't have that i'd need a Kodak Factory.

Cheers Leon

Hi leon,
Yeah - just fired off a few test shots using the 28mm Pentax a few nights ago.
Looks like the boy has a bright future down here in SA!
Cheers

Nice one Leon & nicely framed too.
Gee that 135mm F/2.0 L looks/sounds/performs like an awesome lens.

Hi Leon, thats a great looking image that you have captured, the stars are very resolved and theres lots of detail, the colours are very natural as well.

A great job in my books

Cheers
