Here's a Mars set from Monday night, for the core of the rapidly globalising storm. Poor old Oppy is right in the middle of the frame!


Only a bit of Sinus Meridani is visible clearly in the middle, and the storm is encroaching on the south polar cap.
I've attached a gif rocking two IR frames, showing the texture and shadows at the top of the billowing dust clouds, especially near the sunset terminator at right. It's a sort of 'orange peel' effect, as described by Anthony Wesley.
