My Observatory from Space (Google Earth)
Holly cow, resolutions good enough to see my dome. Amazing zooming and panning, so smooth.
Impressive and scary technology, just need to look up the co ordinates for that nudists beach off weribee..

I haven't looked at google earth lately, will have to see if the resolution is better for Lostock or Wyoming

My dome 37d 42' 1.74" South 144deg 45' 50.64" East.
Its the big round thing !.
Heres the 2 Keck telescopes at Mauna Kea.
19d 49' 24" N 155d 28' 37" W

Google Earth is great fun but I always wonder how much better the spy sattelites must be.

Sydney at least will have a high rez fly over photo session on Friday for Australia Day !

The last i recall was it could read the number of a license plate.
So thats says alot !.
Wonder what type of optical configuration it uses.

Hi Gama, I suppose that is the official spin from the government which would mean that unofficially they are probably a lot better than that.
It all starts to get a bit scary
