Alice never ceases to amaze me

Hi All

For a woman that never comes out with me during my Astro sessions, last night would have been the first,

If it had not been for her i would not have imaged the Comet, and a nice image it was too.

Alice said to me yesterday evening "what are you doning out on the front lawn", "looking for the Comet, i answered"

I was just about to give it away because of cloud cover, when she yelled there it is, and so it was, quick ill get the tripod, as she ran inside, we got the shot and the clouds rolled over, and it was gone.

I have never seen her so excited about astronomy in her life, and to top it all off, she drages me out side tonight to find it again.

I said, Alice, it is totally clouded over, and raining, no chance tonight i said, but she insisted and said, you never know, the clouds might break, they didn't though.

I think we have a new convert to the sport.

It might be the only and last image i will ever get of the Comet, and i have Alice to thank for that.

Cheers Leon

Next thing you know she will want you to move the lounge suite outside so that she can view in comfort. Don't forget the radiator in winter .

Great stuff Leon, I think it's great when our partners get involved. my wife Kee comes out in the summer months and has learn't the names of all the main stars in Orion so far but she still calls it the "Running man"

Just a thought. If Alice gets really interested in astronomy, she might take over the Meade and leave you with the Orion .
For some reason my wife has always had the better car in our family. Women are like that .
