Modern commercial reality I guess. We've always complained that we don't make enough money.... and now that we do it's killing business.

Crazy thing is that in the Australian shoe business (i.e. manufactured here) the labour component is only about 10-15% of the total cost of sale according to the CEO of Blundstone. So if that's the case, removing most of this cost is still only a small percentage of the total - so is it worth the move? It must be!

More than likely not.
