Very nice Greg. I like the way you've managed to tame all the stars in the core without blowing out the nebula.

Thanks Geoff. The Ha data was extremely detailed and resolved all the stars in the core. The Luminance and colour tended to overexpose them a tad. So it was a challenge to preserve that dynamic range.

Hehe I am sure it is very radioactive. It looks like a very turbulent, dangerous and active part of space.

Greg.

Nice detail Greg. Personally I would wind back the red a bit though.

Cheers

Thanks Steve. I'll relook at the saturation levels. I usually leave an image overnight for a final reality check, I didn't do that this time. In the morning it might be a OMG what was I thinking moment!

I've toned I down a fair bit but its still not right. So consider it a work in progress.

Meantime here is the Ha warts and all (due some more processing as well but rather amazing detail thanks to some really good seeing).

Make sure you look at the large to see how deep it went.

Lovely and deep Greg. Love the Ha version.

Is it me or is the background too blue? My question reminds me of that funny ZZ top song, look it up. TV Dinners. 'If the sauce is not too blue'....

Thanks Mike. The colour is a bit of disaster, I think I'll start from scratch again. The Ha though apart from some noise which looks like it didn't calibrate properly is super detailed and no decon!

Thanks Simmo. There is some blue in the background, is it too much? Not sure I need to reprocess it as its gone a bit off the rails.

Greg.
