I've got one of the stellar chairs too ... as mentioned they fold flat, carry well in a vehicle, etc. It replaces the 2 different chairs that I used to carry to get the range of heights that I needed for observing with my dob. One of those was a bar stool which obviously did NOT fold flat, so the space saving in travel in huge!
A word of warning though - these chairs are SO good that everyone else just can't help but want to sit on it. I bought mine last July at the Qld Astrofest, and even as I was carrying it (still in cardboard box) back to my scope & table setup the vultures (oops, I mean my good friends - you guys know who you are!) began circling ..... what's in the box, get it out, lets have a look, etc. I was in fact the 5th or 6th person to sit on my brand new chair.
I also use it for BBQ's - at home, and at other peoples places - by setting the seat relatively low and leaning back and relaxing against the "back rest". I find that if I get up and move other people will always try to adopt it to sit on. At one gathering recently a friend planted himself on it in great comfort and seemed quite reluctant to move when I returned until I smilingly suggested that unless he wants to reimburse me the near $200 I paid for it he can move his bum back to his own seat.
Yes, these chairs REALLY are that great ..... yes, be prepared to chase others off them .... and Yes! it's all worth it.
