You sure?

This has a similar speak first... learn later tone to your "Images" post.

Don't you have security systems in place on your PC (firewall etc)

No-one's gonna gain access to your computer through a simple blog or webpage

Sid, it does not allow google or anything else access to your PC.

Google gives you webspace, you can upload images or display a webpage there. Nothing more than that.

Stiker has not led your astray. Many people have them and use them well.

Sid Sid Sid,

You obviously have no idea.

I know atleast 15 people now that have built there own webpage via Google pages and thats all it is a web page on a server that has dedicted some of there hard drive for you to use which has nothing to do with your PC.

Knowone has access to your computer the web page is built on google servers not yours.

My recomendation to you Sid is be careful what you say on the forum because you obviously dont have a clue what your talking about.

Hi Sid

We are all human and make mistakes, especially when learning the ropes of a new Forum. The guys and gals around here are very forgiving and supportive as we stumble along our learning journey. So when you do make a cock up, and are not too concerned about your reputation to fess up to it, it shows that you have style and class. It is also nice to acknowledge any help received or even offer an apology if you may have said or implied something not true?

This makes IIS a fun, happy and learning place to hang out, as well as providing continuing encouragement for Forum members to offer further help and advice.

Cheers

Dennis

We all live and learn every day of our life. I still do and always will do the same thing that i had drummed into me by my father that i have drummed into my kids as they were growing up, if you are unsure of something or don't understand something, speak up and ask someone about it before taking the plunge. IIS has a great bunch of members here which will help out in one way or another if a question has been asked.
