IE users
For those of you that use Internet Exploder, have you noticed a yellow exclamation icon in the status bar of IE when browsing the forums? That is, the yellow icon that tells you "page loaded but with errors".
Also, if you've ever had the problem of the missing attachment button, were you using IE or Firefox at the time?

If the IE Status bar is the grey coloured horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen, sitting on top of my blue Windows Tool Bar, then I don't have that problem.
I do however, courtesy of Norton Internet Security 2007, have a nice, bright green bar at the top of the IIS Window telling me that "Fraud monitoring is on" and when I click the icon, it tells me reassuringly that:
"There is no indication that this Webpage is fraudulent"
Cheers
Dennis
PS – I’m on IE 7.0.5730.11

Thanks Dennis. It may be an IE6 specific problem but probably IE in general.
I think I've fixed the missing manage attachment button problem. We'll see how it goes.

When I installed Norton Internet Security, it recommended that I use the NIS anti-phishing capability and turn off the native MS one in IE7.
Same with the NIS Firewall vs. native MS IE Firewall.

I'm sure I have had the yellow exclamation mark at some time... I think since I've had IE7 but I can't be sure, sorry. But I don't have it now...

Mike, I haven't noticed any problems with IE7. I am also running under WinMCE.

No problem with IE7.
I have the same exclamation mark as Paul does but has nothing to do with errors on the page.

Thanks for the feedback. I think it was an IE6+Win2K thing. It should be ok now. Hopefully everything's working for everybody in every browser on every platform now.

You're killin' me Geoff. I think if you delete your cache, it should be ok. I'll try to see what's happening some other day in the early hours of the morning when most of the astronomers are in bed.
I'd care right now, but I'm waiting for Saturn to come up. First time I've seen the Great Orion Nebula and I discovered it's... great! What a newb I am
