Jupiter this morning

Just to give you a break from all the Saturn pictures here's a piccie I took this morning.
Shocking atmospheric conditions. I stacked about 300 fuzzies to get this. You can just make out the GRS.
This is how Jupiter used to look through my 60mm Ebay refractor.

Nice one JJJ! Very exciting to see ol' jup again! Your shot inspires me to have a go one morning this week! I need to see that it has cleared the tree first..

It was a beautiful visual sight this morning.

I'd packed up my scope after imaging Saturn and had just processed the first AVI to get an idea of what I'd captured.

I walked outside to take a look just as the sky was brightening and there it was, hovering over in the eastern sky.

I could still see quite a few brights stars directly overhead and over to the west.

Made me wish I hadn't packed the scope up.

Also made me remember how nice it is just to stand there and look up - no scope ... no nockies
