CARINA before/after

Hi All,
Just looking back on what results I had with the Canon EOS300D before modification,(you can see the internal filter doing it job) then after, and now looking at the results that someone posted a short while ago using the Canon 400D unmodifed which had great Reds in the Rossette nebula makes one think that the new Cameras may be useful without modification.

Pix -Carina Nebula both 4 x 6 Min. no DF removed in the unmodded Pix., DF removed in the modded Pix., both ISO800, both guided, this was some time ago and I was still learning (still am) the processing bit.

cheers.................Jim

I like the first one better Jim, more natural to the eye color wise but then who is to say how it should look to any set of eyes. Lets face it, with processing software you can present a DSO in any way that pleases you best.
