ORION with an ED Camera Lens

Hi All,
Thought id have another try at getting the whole area of Orion goodies again, stopped down the Nikon 70-300 ED Lens to F8, set it at 135mm and did longer exposures at a lower ISO, seems to have reduced the blue fringing around bright stars and kept the faint detail (IC434 Etc.).

Pix. 6 x 6 Min. Exp. at ISO-400, DF removed, guided, Canon EOS300D (modded) ,Nikon 70-300 Ed Lens.

cheers.....Jim

Area- ORIONS BELT- M42- ngc1977- IC434- ngc2024

Very nice, and you have all the well known objects there. Try a bit longer perhaps, it looks good so far though.
