Welcome Pete,

we had low level cloud, high level could, 65% humidity and rain down here in Tassie.

It could have been bits of my telescope burning upon reentry after i crack the proverbials at the weather!!!

Hi Pete and welcome to the group.
I was out and saw one with a greenish tinge to it but no blue though. It lasted around 2-3 seconds and was heading East from where I was.

Cheers

Saw something on SBS (foreign) news about some Russian space junk re-entering it may have been part of that.

It sounds like a real beauty! Congratulations on spotting it.

BTW. My brother-in-law's parents live in Texas.
