OK here goes the big one.
I have a Meade 8" Lightbridge Standard for sale , this scope was bought in November 06 so it is only 8 weeks old - I got an excellent deal on a Meade 8" SCT and EQ mount form a nice old bloke who's back cannot longer handle the scope, so my LB is for sale.
The battle came down to which one would go, in the end it came down to the SCT staying as it can be broken down even smaller that the Dob for storage in our house.
A must in my house is the ability to hide scopes from my wife. I have attempted to disguise the dob as a hall object and an extra dinner party guest - both failed.
So up for sale is:
A Meade 8" Lightbridge standard model in its original shipping box with all original packaging and accessories (RDF, 2"-1.25" adapter, mirror cover, 26mm plossl, all caps).
I have also built a simple vibration platform that the whole DOB sits on (pick up only for the platform). The platform keeps the dob off the ground about 2 inches and keeps it cleaner.
The LB cost me $800, it is for sale for $580.00 in new condition.

I also have for sale a Lazer Collimator that cost $99 and is for sale for $50.
