For our Non-Christmas members and friends
To all of you in our great IIS community that do not celebrate Christmas due to Race, Religion, etc:
Enjoy your days off work!
Don't forget to inform us of your celebrations when they come along too.

I try to think of other peoples feelings Ian. At this time of year non-Christmas folk are bombarded with our rants and raves and celebrations of the silly season, and it is right in their face in shops, on TV, they get wished a Merry Christmas etc.
All these thing I enjoy, but I just like to remember that not everyone celebrates what we celebrate. Christmas can be offensive to some. So, that's why I like to wish them a happy holiday from work, school or whatever.
Even though I am a Christian, I wanted to experience a true Jewish Passover. I went to the Ballarat Synagogue on Passover but it was shut!
I like to know about other peoples celebrations. I may not celebrate them, but I like to learn and know, and have respect for their special occasions.
EDIT: Oh, and also International Dark Sky Night too

I was actually at church last sunday, the pastor said alot of us celebrate xmas because of presents, decorations, shopping, santa, drinks etc but forget the true meaning of "Christ" + Mas. It's so true. Just make sure we know why we celebrate Xmas and not because of unwrapping gifts under the tree from santa!

T'was the night before Christmas
And all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
not even a soon to be religious fervor thread.
A merry Christmas and a very very safe New Year to everyone at IceInSpace. In fact, everyone not at IceInSpace as well
Be safe. Be happy. Be nice.

I Celebrate Christmas and in fact was born on Christmas Day.
And I am disappointed that you would even post that Christmas is offensive to some.
I wish everyone a Happy Christmas

My religion is celebrated as often as possible ( at a minimum two nights a week).
Here is a common prayer for my religion:
Our Lager
Which art in barrels
Hallowed be thy drink
Thy will be drunk
(I will be drunk)
At home as in the tavern
Give us this day our foamy head
And forgive us our spillages
As we forgive those that spill
against us
And lead us not into incarceration
But deliver us from hangovers
For thine is the beer
The bitter and the lager
For ever and ever
Barmen.

Hey dudes, mellow out. Talk about terra-centric! Let's all beam a biggie of peace and love to all the life forms of our universe, regardless of planet, chemical building blocks, or how many tentacles they've got. And remember, don't drink and hyperdrive!
Safe and happy times to all -
Cheers -

Regardless of religion, race, colour, or beliefs, i believe a Christian is one that respects oneself, and others, dose the right thing buy others, and tries to live a life with good in their heart, toward all human beings, regardless of what religion they were "born" into.
There are many amoungst us who pretend to be good christian people, but fail when it comes to the real things in life that matter.
Cheers Leon
