Great Work Shawn, you have put some effort into this in such a short time span too, a real work of art, bet you are in there looking at the views from inside the dome already
What a fantastic sight to see it all coming together, it wont be long now until it's up and running.
It has to be the amateur astronomer's dream to have your own domed observatory.
Hey Shawn now thats its pretty near finished do you recon you could pop down and give me a hand with doing one, smaller but now that you understand it I just thought maybe....
That look fantastic and room to move.. it looks huge. Lucky it did not turn out windy, you would appreciate how the dome may respond to a gust.. probably drag the crane along behind it.. you are a legend mate top stuff.

Hey Shawn hows about some internal shots..with people or something for scale...and you cant use the weather..unless you are under it.. as an excuse for no photos..

Cheers Houghman, a compliment from you is a worthy acolade, somebody did piont out to me on the other side, that my 14er will be too small for the obs.
Wow - what a project! What a dome - it looks fantastic. I admire your skills and talent in engineering and in pulling this one off Shawn - a truly monumental effort. Go get some sleep and rest now, you deserve it.
