3rd Ashes Test

Well...well....well

Gentlemen and gentleladies... do we perchance finally have a fair dinkum Test Match on our hands over in Perth? Not that the 2nd Test wasn't exciting... right at the end!

Finally, the Poms have given Monty Panesar a chance and he deliver a five for...

Australia all out for 244 on a tricky batting track.

Steve Harmeson back in the groove with a brace of wickets.

Let's see how England's batsmen go.

But it's great that the Ashes are well and truly alive.

I love it!!!!

England already 2 down for 38...

Like I said... that's a tricky wicket!!!

244 might not be such a bad 1st dig

The English certainly started their innings with a flurry of boundaries. I thought that they'd gain a real confidence boost from that.... but it's early in the session.....

If Warne had've held that catch, Australia would be back in it.. but now only 2 down with 2 good batters at the wicket, England is still way in front.

A good day tomorrow! C'mon Aussies!

Day 3 made a huge difference.
Stuff the Poms, there is no way they can make over 527 runs in 2 days.
And, Good on yer Gilly. almost made it.

Almost four centuries to the Aussies, fantastic batting. The Poms had better find some batting form real quick. It will be interesting to see how our bowlers approach the game tomorrow, spin or pace to start.

cheers

If i was Ricky Ponting i wouldnt have declared at 557, 650 would have been a bit more like it....
But with 5 wickets down now due to a devastating over from OOH AHH GLENN MCGRATH i think 557 should be enuf!
GO YOU GOOD THING!

7-for!

England could've won, only needed 220 from over 2 sessions, but once Flintoff got out I think they've lost it now.

Mamoud will get himself out soon, he's too cocky

Naaah...

557 is heaps. You gotta set a competitive and sporting target and back yourself and Ponting always does.

England won't get anywhere near it.

The Ashes are ourssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss !!!!!!!!!

Can I put $10,000 on Aus to win now with only 1 wicket to get and over 200 runs for the poms to get.

Aust = Winners

3 - 0 with 2 tests to go..can we make it 5 - 0 that would be nice.

Now we have to wait for lunch, for the last wicket.

3 zip what a series so far.

I reckon Australia will take the series 4 and a draw. Boxing day being the draw and the last a win to us.

Great result.

Ponting is obviously a very good leader - the team remained focussed the whole three tests. Well done lads!
