taken using Samsung nx500 16-50mm zoom lens set at 16mm at F6; stacked in nebulosity wirth some basic processing in Pixinsight (DBE, SCNR, histogram). no flats, bias or darks yet
Banding is a real pain to get rid of. Having correct darks can help a lot but it doesn't always remove it all. My Nikon D700 had banding issues that were largely mitigated with darks but still showed up when stretching or when there just wasn't enough signal.
Nice work Ryan, I recon this is what the Milky Way would look like under a very dark sky, if we had slightly larger pupils and slightly better colour sensitivity at low light levels...wouldn't it be great!
