Leo Triplet From Snake Valley

This is the slightly meagre result of the Snake Valley Astro Camp back a few days ago. LRGB image of the Leo Triplet of M65, M66 and NGC3628.
Colour was tricky as a lot of magenta kept coming out. Details are:

Scope: Stellarvue SVR102T-IS at f7 with custom field flattener
Camera: SBIG STT8300M with Baader LRGB filters
Mount: Orion Atlas AZEQ-G
Guiding: Orion SSAG pro and Orion ST80 with PHD2
Image Acquisition: SGP
Subs: L 11 x 5mins, R 14 x 5 mins, G 9 x 5mins, B 9 x 5mins.
Calibrated and stacked in Pixinsight, final combination and levels, curves, cropping and highpass filters applied in PS CC 2017

That's a very decent triplet and using a 4 inch scope even more impressive.

Greg.

Thanks Bo. Works really well at SV with the low north horizon.

Thanks Greg. This is a moderately widefield scope, but on groups like this it works well.

Thanks Leon, much appreciated. Still not really happy with it, still a bit noisy and not as sharp as I would like but not sure what to do to get it better.
