I'm curious - what's with the wooden tripod legs propping up a reasonably high-end mount?
Surely they must have greater flexure than steel?

These aren't just any old "wooden tripod legs", they are made from high-end Tak wood, supreme quality and guaranteed to dampen, dampen, dampen. Don't know about steel legs.
