keyhole

the other night I was out and noticed that eta was up so took a few freames and liked what I came out. I thought I might tkae more frames to remove all the noise, but after a rattled off 50 shots got them on the computer I couldn't push them as far as I liked and came up with nothing realy exciting,

40 x 30 second exposures
350D
80mm skywatcher refractor 7.5
Heq5

stacked and levels in photoshop.

I've been working on this imaged for 3 days now and I still carn't get much out of the rest of the nebula so I might retry it again.

Higher res shot can be found here

vash,

That is actually rather beautiful.

I love the subtle colouring. It looks quite 3D to me.

Great work.

Regards,
Humayun

thanks everyone.

for some reason this computer doesn't calibrate as well as my editing computer but I think it's the monitor is old.

I wouldn't mind using my big scope on this to get some realy good detail out of it, but need clear sky's for that.

Nice work Vash.

You will have to expose for longer to get the fainter Nebula.

Well done Vash,
a beautiful part of the night sky this.

I agree with Tony, you'll need longer exposures to capture the fainter stuff.
cheers
