This was the very first test just to how it would work...needs more light frames i know...

Single frame AND with a UV filter on (probably should have removed it for that shot??
anyways here it is

I'll really get better results from more lights though. Still, I was surprised it came out half reasonable with a single exposure and one dark (taken around noon today !!!)

Gee thats good for a single shot Frank...I usually need lots to show the faint reflection nebulae!!

By the way is this the semi-apo version of the zs80? and did you use there anti violet filter?

yep it's the semi APO version and I did use the UV filter. I suspect I'd have gotten more of the nebula without the UV filter but then I'd have the halo around stars
I might try it again at some poin with more exposures obviously and with/without the UV filter to see how it fares.

I'm pretty happy with the upgrade from the 100mm spotty I had before which didnt enable any imaging.
