Wink Piers - a possibility

I reckon a secondhand (unused) one of these could be adapted to a heavy duty pier.

And if you get the right one you wont need a telescope...your pier will take you too the stars.

Interesting, thanks Dennis. I took my picture at Richmond Air Show in October 2006 and from the look of it almost the same spot as the one in the article.
