A good result there Scott. To me though and like the Orion Nebula, the HH doesn't seem to suite narrowband at least I've never seen a rendition I really liked anyway. Still, well done regardless, everything is worth a try and a looksee and that I enjoyed

Thanks Mike for your feedback.
It's not narrowband though HaRGB just not traditional.

Ah...well, that'd be the same with your M42 then ...your palette choice is just very similar to that which NB imparts to both regions I guess.

That's correct.
Like Andy i am trying to experiment a little bit with colours but trying to get the technical aspects of data collection spot on.
Like I said it's not true rgb but I couldn't get the traditional look to work artistically.
I have my 10 inch newtonian almost perfectly collimated now. Just waiting for clear skies.
Once again thanks Mike

Looks a cracker, Scott the palette makes it look like a warm log fire, with an astro theme

Looking for a sponsorship from Fanta, Scott? Actually looks quite nice though the RGB purist in me feels a little queasy

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks Rick. Fanta? No. Epson printer inks? Yes!
Going to have a crack at a more conventional rgb palette soon blending ha and red.

I think that is one of the better fields of view for the Horsehead. Interesting experiment with the colour. It looks like you got some nice data there.

Thanks greg. Greatly appreciated. I have almost set up my 150 to 500 mm lens properly so should be able to get some decent fovs with that.

A very nice image Scott - a significant improvement over the original version IMO. Please keep them coming!
