"The New Inventors"

Anyone watch this show on the ABC? (wednesdays at 8pm, it just finished).

Some quite ingenious inventions coming every week.. always entertaining and some great ideas on show.

I wish I was creative in design and engineering

I must admit, I always tape it so I don't miss it. It is always interesting to see some of the ideas that some people come up with. Some of the inventions are brilliant while others are a bit...well...dumb? Always entertaining, I wish I could think of something too.

I invented the electric motor when I was 11 unfortunatley I did not know it was already done, I invented teh flying ring only to find it had been done, I nvented the "Trumpet mirror"as I call it but it was already in the xray scope so that was out...but the one I rally laugh at was a thrust paddle for a boat the opened and closed as you pushed and pulled..I saw it in a Chinese wood print thousands of years old..
Add to that my patten attorney talked me out of pattening my wrist worn calculator 30 years ago I think inventing is simply not for me... its fun but I have never made a quid out of it..not saying you cant but you really have to be strong to not give it in.
