Uranus 2016-11-20

, improved conditions for this capture, with the possibility of a small bright spot in the EZ near the northern limb. If conditions remain good further captures may prove it's existence.

thanks for posting your Uranus pics regularly Phil, tis quite helpful to compare against mine so i know that i dont have artifacts

one thing i have noticed is you have significantly greater contrast across the disk than i get - is this due to your processing choice or does this represent the true observable contrast in RG610 longpass?
