Ngc300. REPRO

NGC300. I had to keep the noise reduction minimal as it's a very dim target so I had to push the histogram up pretty hard and it looked much better without it.

Very nice, Tim! A little noisy but some more data would fix that

Great pic Tim,
I think all it needs is a boost in LAB mode
& some local or non global contrast adjustment.
I tried it out in Photoshop & it does look much more vibrant
but as you have copyright on the image I won't post it.

cheers
Allan

It is a dim target and it is showing up quite nicely Tim. 10 hours is a good amount of data to play with

Really nice work Tim! Not an easy target, but a beautiful image.

Hi Tim,
Yes - much better with a boost of saturation.
Those lovely colours were there but just hiding away!

cheers

That's a large improvement there Tim. A very good repro.

the repro is very good Tim, especially the nice colour balance.

The scale is possibly on the big end of usable - have you tried using binning at all?

Yeh, I tried it when I first got the 8300. I got horizontal blooming which apparently is pretty standard for the sbig and there's no gian control with them either.

I also got a 0.67x reducer recently which will help.
