It's been about 11 years since my last image post on IIS. Way too long between drinks as it were.
Its 253 because it's about the only interesting object I can see at my spot with the 80mm before it gets into the wee hours of the morning, half moon and very urban location contributing. Something went wrong in the stretch I think as the stars all clipped and have no color. At least the tracking seems to be sufficient. It's start for what will be a lot of data collected on this one. I might have to splash out on some better processing software in the near future and spend some more time learning all that stuff again.
Unmodded Canon 1100D in cool box
80mm SWED
Home-brew 'Pentax' 75mm guide scope
Orion Sirius on pier
17 x 180 @ 800, darks, offsets and a questionable set of flats
Iris and Gimp
BTW - I had to look up SWED. I NOW know it's a Skywatcher model, beforehand all I could get was - Smoke Weed Every Day.
I'm new to all this, but I'd like to try to get something similar with a 600mm camera lens I have.
