NGC3576 Narrowband - Repro

hi

Thought I'd re-process this data that I took a while ago as it was too purple.
I think I managed to get it to the standard Hubble Palette

Larger version here http://www.astrobin.com/full/143285/C/

4 Hrs in total of S2HaO3

NEQ6Pro
STF8300m

comparison of the old and new attached as well.

comments welcome

P.S: Mike, you've already seen the warts :-)

Cheers
Alistair

The new one has a much nicer colour balance, nicely reprocessed Alistair!

The colour is much more pleasing now.

The detail in the nebulosity, especially in the Dancing Hereford (bright patch from 3:30 through to 5 o'clock), is excellent.

Yup, works much better. The palette is applied very nicely in the second process, and the detail is good.
A lovely image Alistair

Yes, colours seem a little more pleasing I think.

Warts?...I see no Warts...maybe a coupl'a rings around stars on the bright neb bits when viewed at 3000% ...but no worms!
