When an article clerk my master solicitor a man of 80+ years would have me sit in to observe how its done.
He was explaining a lease to a lady who had her Son with her..she was obviously concerned where he stood.
Mr.H what will happen when I die?
He looked over his glasses and said very seriously
"Why they will bury you of course"

She did not know what to say.
Another time he looked over his glasses looked me straight in the eye and said about my sectretary a tall plain girl.
"June is a nice girl ..but she has no sex appeal."
as serious as and a statement of fact..I nearly burst out laughing.
