sorry another NGC253

Hello to all
I have been Imaging NGC253 with the ASI 1600mc again this time it is 30 x 2min exposures with darks and Flats and a little better focus it was taken at Unity Gain and just processed in Nebulosity 4 have not put it threw Gimp yet but its getting better I think what are your thoughts ?
good or bad

It's a nice galaxy, nothing to be sorry about. Do you have a link to a higher resolution image? At least, to me, this image seems a bit clipped and possibly not showing all the details. I suspect you might have more there than what is showing?

It looks better on astrobin. The histogram is right up against the left. I think you might be able to tweak the image a bit more and get more contrast?

Resolution is good, and the noise level is looking promising. You've already brought out some of those "galactic fountain" streaks that give 253 its unique character.

The colour needs adjusting - it's very purple at present. If you get it the galaxy largely colour neutral on average (ie no overall purple cast), then you can increase the saturation a bit and bring out differences between the core and the spiral arms, but if it's all purple, increasing the saturation only makes it yet more purple.

Be greatly encouraged. Should it ever stop raining, squeeze off more data. That would help make the background cleaner so as to reduce the temptation to clip the blacks, and you'd have a great picture.

Its a good shot of 253, nice round stars too, but now it's a bit green...I know, can't win huh?
