M42-ed80

Hi All,
Orion is back again, so took this Pix. using a lower ISO rating on the Canon 300D, this seems to give better detail than ISO-800 (my normal setting) without as much burnout in the centre, wonder how ISO-200 would go, has anyone tried it.

M-42 + M43- (nice blue refelection nebula)

6 x 6 Min. at ISO-400, ED80@F-7.5, guided on LX200+MX7C, DF removed.

cheers.......Jim

That's beautiful Jim.
Well done.

It would be interesting to see an ISO 200 version just out of curiosity.

Lovely colours too.

Jim,

Lovely work, as always.

Was this done with a modified camera or just the stock 300D?

Regards,
Humayun

Nice shot Jim,
the beauty of these 80mm scopes with fast F ratios means that on a target like Orion, a comparison could actually be done: a few shots at 800, afew shots at 400 and a few at 200 to see the difference in the detail.
this shot looks very nice as is.
cheers
frank
