Collimation knobs

Apologies for what I'm sure is another version of many already-existing threads.

Looking for new collimation knobs for a Skywatcher 8" f/5, an old one that has the rotten old allan key screws for both primary & secondary. Bob's Knobs' website lists Bintel as the local supplier, but Bintel tells me they don't have them now that all new reflectors have the proper knobs included as stock.

Any idea where I might track some down?

Bintel don't do Bob's Knobs anymore, but I found another place in SA that does them for a reasonable price. Being posted out today. Hooray, no more fiddly Allen keys.

Maybe contact Tasco in Sydney (the SW distributor) and see if they can help? Got to be worth a shot.

Alternatively, as Aidan said ... http://www.bobsknobs.com

Yes, you can get them direct from Bob. I've done that for my last two scopes. And their customer service is great too!

Thanks all - I got both primary and secondary sets of Bob's Knobs from Sirius Optics for $70 incl postage. Should have them Monday.

Considering the two sets cost $46.90 USD plus whatever international postage would be (and however long that would take) I think I came out ahead!

Now I just need a new Crayford and this old bluetube Skywatcher will be pimpin'.
