Tucanae 47 (NGC 104)
Hi All
Had some clearing in the skies on thursday night so decided to try this one out .
Exposures were 2 minutes x 30 and shot through the ZS110 with the SXV-H9C .
This glob has a very bright core and is a bit tough to deal with but we do what we can I guess and for me It's another first and I am a glob lover !
The image can be found at my gallery www.atalas.net . I hope you all enjoy It and thanks for looking.

Nice site Louie, some hi-tech gallery software there. Looks good.
You probably shoud design it for 1024x max resolution though - at the moment it appears to be 1280x1024.

Thanks Tony,glad you like It.
The site was built buy my son and his wife and I still need to build a nice home page in there near future .
I havent put up info on objects, equipment and exposures as yet and to be honest I don't want to go through all that work at this time I just wanted somewhere to put up larger imagers.

Hi Rod and thanks mate ! nothing big shot about me at all mate
I use good basic processing princibles which I learned from Warren Keller and more recently Wadaski's Zone Method.
I've already helped a couple of IIS people with there processing and will help almost anyone who asked me If I believe they are of good heart .

Very nice shot of 2070, lots of structure visible in the nebula.
It's interesting ... with everyone using DSLR's that show such objects as blue, I wonder how long before we consider that normal. It's not like a photo of a tree where you know it should be green, I can imagine at this rate we'll soon be expecting such objects to be blue/violet.
[EDIT: I just realised this thread is about 47 Tuc, but when I click the link all I can find is 2070.... hence my comment re 2070... a glitch in the new web site perhaps.]
[Edit2: OK, I've found 47 tuc now ... I prefer the 2070 shot ... seems you just needed to link to the actual image page for 47 tuc not the web site home page in the original thread message..]
Roger.
