Astrophotography help

Hey everyone,
I'm a University student here in Sydney and i'm doing a report on Astrophotography. Just to give a few points; i'll be talking about the history of it and stuff like that and how it's the merging of art and science etc. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I need to interview someone involved with astrophotography so i was thinking a good place to start would be the exhibition they have on at the Sydney observatory at the moment. Hopefully i'd be able to find a photographer willing to talk to me and answer a couple of questions.
I've never been there before, but does anyone have any advice. I'm really sorry if this isn't the right place for this, i just don't know where to start.
Thank you all so much

Hey

good idea to talk to an active photographer.
Wiki is also a good start, of course.
