Massive Photographic sale

I don't yet know if this is actually the correct forum for these items but in the last few days the husband of a good friend of mine passed away and she has asked me to help dispense with a great deal of equipment. The list here is only a subset of what is available.

I have not photographed every item because it would take quite a while but can send pics for people interested. As you can see I have included the new price I have researched for each item as well as specifying a sensible but negotiable sale price. The money generated is for the widow's retirement so whilst she wants it sold perhaps not at any price so to speak. I'm only looking for a fair and agreeable price for you and her.

In addition there is a rucksack absolutely full to the brim of Olympus gear which I'd be happy to take an offer as a complete lot, but suspect it will end up being split:

$100 each

In addition there a couple of tripods not priced yet (Manfrotto with head and a Bogen). Beyond this there is heaps of other non-camera stuff too e.g. Mac books, Galaxy S3, iPads iPhones etc etc. If you happen to know someone who may be interested let me know or point me to a better, more appropriate forum (not gumtree I think).

I am way too busy with work to allow this to rule everything though so please only PM if you are really seriously interested in an item. They can all be viewed in Nundah and all of the kit is in absolutely as new condition, indeed some of it never was used

Thanks for looking.
Chris

I should also have said that all the lenses are for a Nikon fit. Does anyone know if a Sigma lens for Nikon can be easily changed to a Canon fit? It would widen the audience.

I doubt the mount could be easily changed, that was back in the good old days.
However most Nikon mount lenses can be fitted to the Canon EF (EOS) mount by way of a simple and cheap adapter, so yes, the Nikon fit lenses can/will fit the Canon system, BUT with an adapter.

Good to know - thanks Gary, although I'm guessing you would then lose any auto functions?

Yep, that is exactly the lens in question. It looks absolutely brand new too and is in the original box.

I' m amazed I haven't had any replies for the Sigma 150-600mm Sports - (albeit that only applies to Nikon owners) because it is a truly awesome lens. I nearly bought the D810 myself just so I could make an excuse to buy the lens. I spent a day with the D810 using it and was really impressed even with the 2x extender, although then I noticed you lost autofocus.
