What 1.29a offer over 1.28s does anyone know? I always struggle to track down release notes. From speaking with others at Astrofest think it might have added EQ8 functionality.

(inclined to stay at 1.28s without a good reason to change)

Sounds like nothing essential. There was an exchange between the EQMOD and ASCOM guys with the Sequence Generator guys on their forum about strict ASCOM conformance issues - wonder if that explains some of the notes about options for that.
