Is that your personal set up, or did Bintel visit with a selection of goods from their shop?

Looks like a great setting.

Cheers

That's a stunning setting. I think I'd be happy doing astronomy there with just about any equipment.

Roger.

He he yeah I have been to that bintel shop......
The dob comes from there, I just love how I can take a 12" scope just anywhere......really is a fun portable.
This is my mobile setup, although I didn't quite get it setup before those rotten clouds rolled in....... I run a iU20 honda generator at the end of about 100m of 15 amp lead so the voltage drop is low, so I can run the video gear and CCD imagers etc, and all I could hear was the trickle of the nearby mountain stream.

Cheers
John

Yes I must admitt I can sit on the verandah of that old rock cabin and just stare into space.............it really is relaxing.

Its at the back of the snowy mountains for any that don't know.

What a stunning place, and a great array of equipment there, John.. looks like you're setup for a week!

Where is that place?
