Orion autotracker into GoTo with ASCOM and WiFiScope?

Hey peepl

this tabletop Orion Starblast Autotracker can officially made Goto by plugging in a Synscan Handcontroller.

Does that suggest that I could use a cable ---> laptop running WiFiScope ---> iPhone running SkysafariPlus to get GoTo going?

Looks like Andrews will have it soon...http://www.andrewscom.com.au/optical-telescopes, look under Skywatcher about 2/3 way down, "SKYWATCHER HERITAGE " 90mm Maksutov.

Forget the telescope and you have a crude tracking mount, probably OK for visual with a small scope.

Add Synscan handset (extra) if you want all the frills, but it has to the the Synscan AZ handset (not the ones for an EQ mount).

OTOH the scope will amuse the kids..

No, Ed, I didn't. I looked far and wide but nobody on other forums has asked this question so far.
