HEQ5 Pro Payload.

Does the HEQ5 Pro payload of 13.5 Kg include the counterweights ?
ie if 10kg of counterwieghts are part of the payload, there' only 3.5 kg left for equipment ?

Hi David,

The payload means how much telescope / instrument weight you can add onto the mount and does not include the counterweights.
The 13.5Kg is the recommended weight for visual use, for imaging only go to 75% of that.

Cheers
Bill

HEQ5 Payload

Thanks for that, Bill
That's a relief - I was getting way over the limit otherwise.
Cheers
