IC 4628 and surrounds in Ha

Just scoping around this region looking for my next target.

Not convinced it's what I want framing wise yet, but I was surprised by how much Ha surrounds this neb.

A very interesting region that I've shot before with the FLT110 so I was looking forward to revisiting this again with the widefield 'scope.

This is 7 x1800sec subs 5nm Ha.

Probably would have taken more subs but I had a rare whoopsie with my cable management and broke my EQ6 240V/12VDC cable when engaging a meridian flip and that as they say, was that.... D'oh! Off to Jaycar tmrw.

So anyway, here it is as a work in progress.

Wonderful shot Andy! Making me realise how tiny my FOV is for this region.

Well worthwhile, Andy, and of great interest. The Prawn is one of those regions where no matter where you stop, there's always more just out of field.
