I looked at this... with some bemusement.

That's a familiar scene! ...

While I cannot seriously compare my imaging from the burbs with the VLT's 2.6 metre located in superb seeing at Paranal...and wait for it..

...their 268 megapixel camera ....I did have a quiet chuckle when I pulled up my humble effort from a year or two ago.

Peter, my personal view on both images, and I reckon yours is more appealing, but than I am no expert in this field.

Yours is pretty damn good Peter, and I bet you didn't spend $200 Million on your setup.

If their camera is as slow as my QHY12 to download, it would take them 10 minutes to download a frame.
