Copernicus November 1

Just processing some avi's I took on November 1. Here's one of Copernicus.

Capture:
C8, 2.5x Powermate, UV/IR filter, ToUcam, 1167 frames, 10 fps.

Processing:
Registax 4: 8 point MAP, 100 frames stacked, gaussian wavelets: 15.3, 5.1, 4.4, 4.4, 12.5, 32.0

PS CS2:
Greyscale (Registax saves as color in green channel only), highlights and shadows, border and text, save for web.

Al.

Hi Al,
Amazing! , just look at all the craterlets around the main crater wow!

The webcam moon imagers forum: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Webcam_Moon_Imagers/ used this target a few months ago as their monthly group challenge target. The winning image was amazing but i think your image would have beaten it!

Regards
Stewart

Hey Al, a great shot! I love all the smaller craterlets around this one... something like the footprints of a drunken caterpillar

Thanks Guys.

I'm still processing a lot of avi's I shot on the same night for a much larger mosaic, but unfortunately I can tell already the quailty doesn't compare with this image. Never mind, you get that!

Al.
