NGC5139 Omega Centauri

Trying to make the most of another clear night, thought I'd sneak in this wonderful glob. 8min luminance subs from the burbs - always happy to get some background galaxies showing up.

Thanks guys. If you look closely enough, it's a bit rough around the edges - bit of gradient on the left etc. But was happy to get a few background galaxies, and bottom right there's some reflection nebula and dust coming through. Needs more data, as always...

Great image Troy. Omega Centauri is not really an easy target. For one thing it can really show up any weaknesses in your round stars to the corners then the core blows out easily.

You've done well here.

Greg.
