Onion rings

Hi all

I have posted this thread to get some help in understanding of why I have small "onion ring" type images when I pump up the mag of the barlow. I was testing the 5x when they appeared. Is it dust on the chip or some other issue, if dust what is the best way to clean, if not then Im a bit lost.

Is there a discussion on the forum aleady that I can link to. And is this question in the right forum category?

Many thanks Petra
