Narrowband with the moon

I am about to dip my toes into narrowband imaging for the first time but don,t want to wait till the new moon.
Is it right to assume i can use the Ha filter, Baader 8nm, whilst the moon is up?
For SII and OIII also Baader 8, at what stage of the moon is it ok. I would like to save the new moon for RGB.
I know that this has probably been discussed elsewhere, if so, could someone provide a link.

Thanks

George

Although 8nm isn't the narrowest of narrowband filters, both Ha and SII should be fine as long as you don't image too close to the moon. Try to keep on the opposite side of the sky where possible and it'll still work quite well

Yeah forget OIII but the Ha and SII will be fine. I use the 45 degree rule, keep the moon from shining into the scope, use a light shield and as long as your aimed 45 degrees away from the moon you will be fine.
